Proofs - Can I have an actual plastic card as a proof or just a PDF by email?

If you are supplying the artwork then no PDF proof will be required as the artwork will be printed as submitted. Should Simply Plastic Cards be designing your cards; you can sign any artwork alterations off via digital PDF proof. We do not supply physical card proofs for approval.

What are your cards made from?

  • 760 micron full PVC
  • Full colour, double sided print
  • CR80 card size 84mm x 54mm
  • Key tag size 28 x 54mm printed as three across CR80 sized card
  • High quality gloss laminated finish as standard (matt lamination is available)
  • Rounded corners as standard

Can my cards have rounded corners?

Yes, we punch radius corners.

Can I order cards without any extras?

Yes, you can choose to have no personalisation options by selecting “none” on the relevant drop-down.

How do I know what size to design my artwork?

If you do not wish to use our online design tool, you can choose to design the cards yourself (or using a design service) using our artwork specification guidelines. The dotted border lines show the print tolerance area. No logos or important information to be included within the dotted line and the solid outer line. The solid outer line is the cutter guide however due to movement when the cards are punched the dotted line allows for movement.

How long will it take to print my order?

We offer three delivery services to suit a range of business needs:

  • 3 working days from artwork submission and approval on non-personalised cards including: membership, gift cards, loyalty cards, business cards, discount cards, key tags, cards with integrated key tags, RFID/hotel/access Control, event passes, and rewritable cards.
  • 5 working days from artwork submission and approval on non-personalised cards including: membership, gift cards, loyalty cards, business cards, discount cards, key tags, cards with integrated key tags, RFID/hotel/access Control, event passes, and rewritable cards.
  • 10 working days for all cards including personalised cards.
